Our sales and design team work closely with our customers to create original, commercial styles. The design team work closely with technicians turn customers ideas into a prototype.

Inspiration for design ideas from periodicals including 'Next Look Close Up Knitwear - Mode Information', 'Pej Colour Online Platform '. Our Italian yarn spinners seasonally produce colour inspiration, new shade cards and trend inspirations for yarns. With a keen interest in all things knitwear we also shop and keep our eyes open on trips and on a day to day basis.

About Sales & Design Process

We have an internal design team who are specialists in whole garment knitwear. From idea and concept we can work in various ways to progress: CAD illustrator sketches for detail/ Apex Fizz swatch / garment flat / apex avatar and knitted yarn swatches. 1st proto stage: the design team will create a technical (size) spec and brief for the technicians. Once the program is made, the technicians will knit off the first prototype which will then be measured by both the design team and QC. After any necessary internal amendments are made and the proto is measuring to the technical spec, a sample will be sent to the customer. 2nd proto stage: We work to customer fit comments and resize the garment if required before proceeding to a 2nd Prototype. Once the sample is signed off we will grade the sizes and produce sales samples/ photo samples if required and pre-production samples before proceeding to bulk production.
