OUR SERVICES
From an initial customer brief, formulated during meetings here at our UK offices, an initial prototype is drawn up, programmed and knitted. Once the prototype has been approved for fit and quality, the style is then graded to enable pre-production sign-off before knitting commences.
Sales & Design
Our sales and design team work closely with our customers to create original, commercial styles. Ideas are communicated directly to our technical team who create initial samples for customer approval.
Programming
Technicians liaise with the design team on customer sample requirements, including pattern, yarn type and garment body shape. Programs are made on Shima programming systems and then sent to the machine to knit the first prototype garment.
Quality Control
We have an experienced quality control team for sampling, sealing and the smooth running of production. In all processes QC work closely with design to ensure all design elements are included while amending any faults.
Capabilities
All our Shima Seiki whole garment machines are flat framed and can therefore offer a genuine 100% seam free product. As we offer various gauges we are well placed to supply knitwear and accessories for all uses and seasons.
Materials
We have some great spinners with whom we work regularly to produce beautiful garments. We work primarily with the main Italian spinners but also European, Scottish and English mills.
