PROGRAMMING
Technicians liaise with the design team on customer sample requirements, including pattern, yarn type and garment body shape. Programs are made on Shima programming systems and sent to the machine to knit the first prototype garment. Products are checked and any necessary amendments are made to the design, quality or fit before sending the first prototype out to the customer. Once samples are approved, technicians create and grade all sizes for bulk production.
During production the knitting machines are constantly monitored to check for any knitting irregularities or quality issues.
